Situation
PBS Distribution managed hundreds of thousands of products across fragmented tools, slowing workflows and introducing errors. A unified PIM system was critical.
Task
As the sole UI engineer, I was tasked with building the system from scratch — creating a scalable frontend architecture that could support 100+ staff across departments.
Action
Architected a modular component library & design system. Consolidated six disparate data sources into a single source of truth. Built complex cross-entity search & relationship filtering. Led code reviews, mentored peers, and created developer-friendly extensibility.
Result
The platform is now used daily by 100+ staff, improving efficiency and accuracy across departments, and showcasing my leadership through designing infrastructure that empowers others.
